With Hideo Kojima dropping a new Death Stranding Director’s Cut trailer, the PS5 game is making it to India. Local retailers speaking to IGN India have confirmed that Death Stranding Director’s Cut PS5 physical edition on disc will be making it to the country in-line with the official release date of September 24, 2021. Expect listings on the likes of Amazon and Flipkart soon enough.
It’s interesting to see this game to make it to India. Reason being, the original Death Stranding PS4 release was steeply discounted months after launch indicating that while it sold five million worldwide, the sales performance in India may not have been as expected. Due to this, we won’t be surprised if the PS5 physical release is available in limited quantities.

The game will cost Rs. 2,999 for Indian PS5 owners, with the Digital Deluxe Edition of Death Stranding Director’s Cut priced at Rs. 3,599. Owners of Death Stranding on PS4 can upgrade to the game for $10, but no information on the upgrade price for India has been revealed yet.
